Tree damaging property

Reported via mobile in the Tree touching building category anonymously at 13:31, Tuesday 6 June 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4638455.

These trees are on council land and are damaging my fence and shed. I have seen you maintain trees opposite the railway track and ask that you maintain these. Should you not action this, any damage caused to my fence and shed due to council owned trees shall be claimed through the courts.

Updates

  • A new enquiry has been raised for this issue.

  • Should you reject this request I am legally allowed to cut those touching my property however I will have no control of branches falling onto the railway track below as that is on the other side of the fence and i am unable to catch them before they fall.

You have a duty of care of ensure the safe maintenance of the trees and I hope to year from you soon. Many thanks in advance.
