Dont cut the grass!

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4642555.

The Council seemed to be putting in practice its ambition to make space for nature, in the context of its own and national targets (30 by 30), by refraining from mowing grass verges. Areas around Clover Ground and Vintery Leys were teeming with wildflowers. It is SO disappointing that these were then almost completely mowed a couple of weeks ago. I'm upset that my council tax payment is paying for the unnecessary destruction of nature. There were no road safety issues. Please please cut back on cutting grass and wildflowers.
