Good luck with that, I have spent 2 years badgering away at the Council via local councillor to get privet hedges that overlap the very busy pavement on a short stretch of Gloucester Road. There is a process that is suppposed to send letters to the offending properties with a time scale for action to be taken before the council step in, do the work, and charge the council tax payer. It is not effective despite any number of council teams and an enforcement officer. Some hedges have been dealt with but 3 remain plus a Spiky Yuka plant.
