Tree branches covering the street light.

Reported via desktop in the Street light/Sign obscured category anonymously at 19:27, Sat 10 June 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4655717.

Street light outside the flats in Tunstall Close, near flats 43 to 48, the trees are covering the street light making it hard to see the pathway at night and is over growing the pathway to the flats. It is getting dangerous at night to see the pathway to the other flats, at night time. This problem has been going on since May of 2023. Please can this be cut down soon. Plus a tree which was planted in a large pot by one of the tenants a long time ago, has overgrown, and is now touching the light, which needs to be removed.

  • I am writing in regards to a request I made last year to get some tree branches cut back which are getting very close to the pathway street light, we have at Tunstall Close. The trees, needing to be cut down are outside Flats 43 to 47. in Tunstall Close, BS9 There is also a small tree someone planted in a very large pot, some years ago, which has now got over grown, and is almost touching the light out side. No one knows who planted this tree in the pot, or why they put it directly under the pathway street light. It needs to be removed or cut down, before it takes over the light, and make the pathway dangerous at night time. The tree in the pot is very close to the light and as it grows more this year it will cover the light, making it darker and difficult to see the pathway at night time. Please can you cut these down, before they grow more bigger. At least take away the large pot with the tree which is under the light. I can not provide you with a photo, as I haven't got the facilities to take pictures of these.
