Road surface in dangerous condition in parking area by Beeses BS4 4SX
Reported via mobile in the Roads category by Kate Mellor at 00:27, Mon 19 June 2023
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4687771.
The surface in the parking area outside Beeses is extremely slippery and unsafe. I was walking across the area towards Beeses and slipped cutting my knee badly. Whilst having first aid in the restaurant, I was approached by another customer whose wife had done exactly the same thing earlier and was also heavily bandaged. I was with a doctor who advised stitches might be required as I have a nasty full thickness laceration and grazing to my knee. Later, on leaving, my adult son almost lost his footing, and he agreed it was surprisingly hazardous. As a car was leaving near us, (we were on foot) they skidded with wheels spinning furiously and it to 3 attempts for them to get going out of the parking area. We were concerned as the spinning wheels might have thrown up stones and we had small children with us. The staff at Beeses were very concerned but said the land is council owned.
