Vehicles double parked on both sides of Chapel Street blocking Artic vehicles from getting to SIG Camwell Road.

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction category anonymously at 11:33, Tuesday 4 July 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council 1 hour, 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 4747751.

Vehicles have been parking on both sides of Chapel Street preventing artic vehicles deliveries from reaching our SIG unit on Camwel Road. Also cars park on double yellow lines on Camwel Road and the illegal parking has been affecting our deliveries (access and egress). This is having a knock on effect on the business for over a year. With our increased delivery and business to the site we cannot allow this situation to continue. Could I please ask that the obstruction is addressed as soon as possible please?

  • SIG had all four artic deliveries which have attempted to get to Camwal Road this week, failed because they can’t get down Chapel Street. We’ve had to re-arrange these deliveries and we are now threatened with penalties if the artics have to revisit. I would be grateful if the traffic situation could be looked at urgently.
