Collapse of road

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 15:21, Monday 10 July 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4769966.

At the junction of henleaze road and cardigan road area adjacent to co op, this has been an ongoing problem for approx a year where i observed that in rain the road gulley would flood up over the pavement and 20 - 30 yards along the cobbled kerb of cardigan road. this is a serious health & safety issue as for the affect of the flooding up of the gulley undermining the road tarmac, the cobbled gutter, the kerb stones and the pavement leaving it to frost damage and when heavy delivery lorries and vehicle traffic access the road, the ground is so soft due to being water logged hence now the collapse of the road etc. we under line this is a serious h & s issue and requires urgent attention. just today observed a young child tripping over it.
