Flytipping

Reported via mobile anonymously at 07:51, Thu 13 July 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4781480.

On grassed area at end of Claremont St, Easton there is flytipping and an abandoned car that is being used by the junkies to congregate and take their drugs. Because of the camera that has recently been installed at end of street the junkies have dragged a bed base under the trees to avoid their detection. They hang out on the opposite side of the bed base. Lots of flytipped and their rubbish is on the ground there. They put fabric up on shopping trolleys to make a cover which they sit under. They keep the doors of the car open to avoid detection and hide and take their drugs. The street is unsafe and unsanitary. The police and ambulance services have been called out to this section of the street numerous times. Needles, drugs and other drugs items are found in the street. The situation is getting worse and residents don't feel safe. Junkies are always in the street, hanging out in the grassed area opposite the houses on Claremont St and also at the end of the street. Its constant. Its a nightmare.
