Street Lights on all day

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4802501.

Light opposite Gloucester Old Spot Pub reported months ago still on all day, received an email that case is closed! The next light is now also on all day as are others along Kellaway Avenue. Does Bristol Council really have money to burn ?

  • We have added this light to the list that requires further attention. There is a communication issue between the lighting central monitoring system (CMS) and the light, and the contractors are working hard to rectify this which is being handled remotely so that the light is not on all day. However, the light itself does not need fixing it is the CMS system which is being worked on that will rectify the issue. Please bear with us whilst this is carried out and apologies for any inconvenience caused.
