Length of Footpath is narrowed from 'The Lodge' Bath Road Brislington to east of Ironmould Lane
Reported via desktop in the Obstruction category anonymously at 08:53, Mon 24 July 2023
Sent to Bristol City Council 20 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 4818131.
Despite previous statement from Bristol City Council to say the action is complete, there has been no clearance of the shared path to make this a safe route for public use to the side of an extremely busy A4 major trunk road. Some parts of the pavement are reduced to 32cms width due to the overgrown inner edge of path along length of pavement from 'The Lodge' Bath Road, Brislington to East of Ironmould Lane.

No change to situation of overgrown vegetation and branches intruding onto pathway as both mornings and evenings get darker. Please clear pathways entirely and make safe for passing pdestrians, cycles and parents/guardians with puschairs.

First reports of the overgrown state and poor clearance to the footpaths reported May 2023. Nothing has been achieved or acted upon since by BCC. Great routes for pedestrians and cyclist in the centre of Bristol. Why not pay the same attention to those at the edge of the city? Disappointing and dangerous situation.
