Planned hedge cutting where sparrows are nesting

Reported via desktop in the Hedge cutting category anonymously at 12:17, Thu 3 August 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4855013.

Met the lovely Andy this morning who is doing a fantastic job maintaining Clark Street Park - cutting the grass while leaving the flowers and small trees to grow. He mentioned plans to cut the hedge growing along side of the last house on Clark Street, beside the park, but I forgot to tell him there is a large colony of about 30 sparrows living there. If this could be kept in mind and the hedge only trimmed a foot or two rather than something more brutal, that would be great. Last time it was cut only 3-4 feet from the ground and the sparrows disappeared. Many thanks for your consideration of this and for doing a great job in our neighbourhood! :)
