Tree branches damaging nearby properties

Reported via desktop in the Tree in poor health category anonymously at 20:43, Sunday 6 August 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4864329.

Hi,

There is a large tree on the corner of the boundary directly behind 69 and 71 Trym Side. This tree has dropped 4-5 very large branches onto mine and my neighbours fences over the last month. My neighbour, who has lived in his property longer, has said this has been an issue for the last couple of years. There still appear to be several other loose branches. Me and my neighbour are concerned the size of the branches means they risk causing damage to our fences. We’d appreciate it if someone could inspect the tree to confirm whether there are any disease concerns and if not, the council consider pruning it.
