I wanted to report litter, but does not seem to be an option now
Reported via mobile in the General highways enquiry category anonymously at 13:30, Monday 14 August 2023
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4890132.
The whole area is littered with rubbish. Plastic bottles, plastic packaging, fag ends, cardboard, all sorts of stuff presumably thrown out of cars, or blown out of recycling boxes without nets. It is especially bad on the left side going downhill towards Lawrence Weston. The whole road though seems to be badly littered. Looks awful to visitors to area and I feel sorry for people living locally ... unless they are the litterers of course. Foreign visitors must think we are a filthy nation with no care about our immediate environment. Perhaps they are right ... but hopefully only a minority.
Sadly, there is no pavement near Kings Weston House, so it's not safe for volunteer litter pickers to clear up this area, it needs a team and a road cleaning machine I would think.
I have noticed this litter issue the last few times I have been in the area, so think this is a permanent issue.
