Verges out of control

Reported via desktop in the Grass cutting category anonymously at 17:24, Tue 15 August 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4895181.

While the footpath through the woods at the back of the houses is strimmed regularly and is now far too wide (see previous report) the verges and gutters on this urban street are far too long and completely out of control. Because they're long they gather a lot ,more litter. The weeds in the gutters have grown so big they now set off my parking sensors and will eventually block the drains. I have spoken to quite a few neighbours and, while we are all in favour of rewilding, none of us like it. Perhaps it has gone too far in this case. It is an urban street, after all.
