Chock Lane used as rat run by high volume of speeding cars

Reported via mobile in the General highways enquiry category anonymously at 15:58, Monday 28 August 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4934014.

With a speed limit of just 20 mph, Chock Lane always been used by a high volume (estimated daily count of >150 cars mon to fri). Most cars travel in excess of the speed limit and often cut the corner. There is a single small 20 mph sign halfway down the street and a school crossing one-both obscured by vegetation). The road narrows between 2 bollards but this has no effect. Needs speed bumps, bigger signs or speed camera)
