Numerous holes in the grass area of Mowbray Road Open Space which are dangerous.

Reported via desktop in the Grass cutting category anonymously at 10:18, Thu 19 October 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5112921.

As the grass has not been cut for many weeks, it has grown and is now covering the many holes (presumably caused by foxes) in this park. This means that people, including many children, cannot see these holes, some of which are quite large. The attached photo shows the result of me not seeing one - the sprained ankle has been the result! This is particularly dangerous early in the morning and in the evening when the light is not good and many local residents walk their dogs at these times. Given the number of children who use the park, it seems crazy for you not to fix this problem as if some of them get injured I am sure that you will face possible legal action. Please cut the grass and fill-in all the holes to make the area safe for everone! This has been an on-going problem for more than 6 months. I am not going to take action against the Council for my injury provided that you sort this matter out.
