Ref: 5112921 Grass + dangerous holes in Mowbray Road Open Space

Reported via desktop in the Grass cutting category by Mr Peter Lidington at 16:50, Mon 23 October 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5129241.

Your response in incorrect - the problem has not been resolved. The grass has not been cut and the holes all around this park remain dangerous to all who use it, particularly in the early morning and the evening when the light is poor - plus for any children playing there. It is unacceptable for the Council to ignore this problem and you will be faced by a legal claim from me because of my injury (sprained ankle as shown in my previous email) unless you do something to sort this out. In addition, I am encouraging every other dog walker and parents of children who use this space to complain and, hopefully, to pursue a similar course of action. It is not exactly costly for you to arrange to cut the grass and to provide a few bags of soil to fill-in all the holes.

Peter Lidington 13 Beryl Grove, BS14 9EB.
