As of this week the street light has changed and is now far too bright, it’s a harsh White/Blue overly bright light that beams straight in to our house.

Thank you for raising this concern. We are aware of the situation, and this is due to the LED citywide rollout programme. For more information, please visit https://www.bristol.gov.uk/ residents/ streets-travel/ upgrading-to-led-street-lighting .
We have added this light to the list that requires further attention. There is a communication issue between the lighting central monitoring system (CMS) and the light, and the contractors are working hard to rectify this which is being handled remotely so that we can control the light level. Please bear with us whilst this is carried out and apologies for any inconvenience caused.
