Pavement,heave and crack

Reported via desktop in the Pavements category anonymously at 16:20, Mon 20 November 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5232943.

There is a silver birch tree on the pavement out side 7 Henleaze Park Drive .This is a fairly new tree, there is a certain amount of heave, and a crack extending up and down the pavement on either side of the tree. there is also a puddle which was not there before.TThere used to be a much bigger tree which did cause kerb stones to dislodge, but did not affect the pavement. This is a busy pavement and will cause a lot of problems .The tree semms to be growing quite fast and the problem is getting worse. I am also concerned that it is beginning to affect our front path. The only solution to the problem, would seem to be to remove the tree, and not to replace it,and then to repair the pavemrnt.
