  • Still there just after midnight on Friday 24th November. If it's not sorted soon, others will soon be moving into the park and spoiling it for everyone.

  • The occupant is using a tree trunk (see photo) to support fires made with branches from the park. As well as being against the byelaws this creates polluting smoke on the nearby paths. I've also seen the fire burning at 11:30pm when I walk my dogs.

I've obscured the face in the photo to comply with posting rules on this site.

  • Still there a month later. If this doesn't get removed soon they'll be living all over St George's Park.

  • This caravan is now accumulating debris in the park, on the road and (see photo) on the roof.

The has been no apparent action by the Council since the first report on 21 November.

Please will you enforce the park byelaws and any appropriate traffic safety regulations to get this removed.

  • Attached photo taken in the last half hour, showing the fire which is now happening every day. There is obvious danger from the flames as well as air pollution.

I've copied the photo to Councillor Asher Craig with a request that she helps resolved this issue.

  • This situation is laughable. Unless it is resolved quickly the park will turn into a caravan park.

  • It's quite clear where the council's sympathies lie here and it is not with local residents. I feel sorry for the people who see an every growing line of illegally parked caravans when they look out of their window in the morning. And I remain astonished that there hasn't been a serious accident on the road due to the complete lack of visibility on that corner.

  • It is good to see the carvan has now gone. However there is an amount of debris left behind, including two large bottled gas containers. Please can this be removed.
