Two large holes backfilled after road works in roadway and footway; finished two days ago, have sunk alarmingly and now allow water to fill deep depressions.

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5290158.

Recent road works here, were carried out without prior notice and over several days; our driveway was obstructed by cones in front of the entranceway on day one and had to be moved (in the dark) to gain access and all this, midway along the traffic light controlled area. The road works were hasily backfilled but not properly compacted, creating dips in the roadway within hours.

    These depressions are on the north-east side of the carriageway outside 68/68a Coombe Lane. The deeper and larger one next to the kerb is difficult to avoid and hazardous.
