Recycle men are damaging the green with their lorry

Reported via mobile in the General highways enquiry category anonymously at 11:05, Sat 6 January 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5404064.

The recycle men drive over the edge of our green ( The green oval in The Chase, Bs16 4HU) every Monday, which drags mud over the road and is damaging the green. On one side their is a very deep indent which is now filled with rain water. My neighbours told me that years ago it was made smaller to make the road wider to allow vehicles to get around better. Is it possible to do that again please? Or at least repair the damaged green and ask the recycle lorry driver to be more considerate? We love our green, it’s a great area for the children to play on and is good for the wildlife. I worry my small children will trip and fall into the massive puddle and possibly drown. Many thanks.
