Salcombe road still shut

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5429460.

The road joint Airport Road says works should have been done by Jan 8th and indeed online says it’s done. The roads is still shut and nowhere near being open??

  • Road works were supposed to be finished today as per the sign which has now been taken away which stated 13 weeks from 23/10/23. The road is still closed and causing huge ongoing traffic issues. This is unacceptable.

  • This is indeed unacceptable. Ponsford Road Which is effectively single lane (Due to parked cars on one side) was a once quiet street but now is being used as a cut through due to the continued Salcombe Rd closure. We have cars riding pavements and road rage with cars trying to get past each other. Only a matter of time before someone gets hurt. This needs to be sorted ASAP.
