Trees causing subsidence

Reported via mobile in the Tree touching building category anonymously at 10:35, Friday 19 January 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5463676.

My insurance company has been trying to prove that the tree in front of the house been causing structural damage to my house for the last 1 and half years but the council has not responded to them what so ever.

I got told the council was looking into it then I got another email saying my case is closed this team doesnt deal with it…..

My house has a crack going along the top and bottom and I want to fix it but theres no point in that if the tree isn’t cut first.

This is starting to become really long and frustrating how would you feel waking up to a long crack in your bedroom then seeing it downstairs in the living room.
