  • Glad to see this has been raised, but it is urgent to properly relay the entire section of road. I have recently had an accident on this corner as a result of the potholes and gravel that surrounds them making it lethal for cyclists. Head injury lead to an ambulance trip to hospital. WILL THE COUNCIL PLEASE GET THIS DREADFUL WHOLE SECTION OF ROAD DOWN TO THE LOWER JUNCTION RE-LAYED, NOT REPAIRED, BEFORE IT CAUSES A DEATH. Remove the caravans and make this road safe. Patching-up time and time and time again is not working and not cost effective. This has been going on for years and needs to be done properly. It is a main bus thoroughfare, and the road is used by thousands of students on scooters, so why is it not being maintained correctly? I also know of at least one scooter user who has also ended up in hospital following an accident due to the road condition at this location. The report history on ‘fix my street’ for this section of road paints a very clear picture of the extent of the problem.
