Memory swing at Troopers Hill Field (BS5 8HX) making a noise

Reported via desktop in the Equipment damaged category anonymously at 15:24, Monday 4 March 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5666614.

This is the message a dad sent to the volunteer group Friends of Troopers Hill about a noise coming from the memory swing on Troopers Hill Field. He supplied a photo of the source of the noise which we have included in this report. He describes the source and noise as ", the left hand radial bushing / bearing. It's less of a squeak and more of a judder. It only happens when there is a child on one side and adult on other (I.e. it's intended use). I would suggest there is wear to the radial bearings / bushes and need replacing. If they did this already then it's just inherent to the design and can't be fixed. It doesn't pose any danger at this time.Photo of the source of the noise, the left hand radial bushing / bearing. " He supplied an audio recording of the noise which I am forwarding to the play inspection team.
