Damaged cobbled area next to kerb now a deep pit
Reported via desktop in the General highways enquiry category anonymously at 17:53, Monday 4 March 2024
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5667535.
In the stretch of road in front of Elmgrove Church there are three areas of uprooted cobble stones in the area along the kerb. The worst is a very dangerous 6" deep pit, some 2' wide and 1' towards the tarmac. This part of Redland Road is narrow, frequently used by large vans and even larger lorries. A vehicle driven close to the kerb, whether ordinarily or to avoid oncoming traffic , could have a very nasty accident if a car wheel dips into the deep pit.
