Painted road marking worn away

Reported via desktop in the Road signage category anonymously at 17:05, Wednesday 6 March 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5677854.

The road markings in the centre of the road at the junction have completely worn away so traffic coming down Chapel Green Lane to join Lower Redland Road now tend to swerve across the centre of the road when cornering. This is a dangerous issue as cyclists turning right to continue along Lower Redland Road from west to east, take their life into their hands while waiting to cross the centre of the road. Previously there was a central safe haven painted onto the road. I cycle this junction daily and have had many occasions where motorists have narrowly missed me, it is an accident waiting to happen as the junction is very busy particularly with cyclists.
