Fly-tipping on a very large scale - Fernhill Lane

Reported via desktop in the Flyposting (parks/playgrounds) category anonymously at 22:12, Sunday 10 March 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5693469.

Please address the constant almost daily fly-tipping in Fernhill Lane, it's horrendous.

I can't believe you are not aware of this as this is been on-going for years and is getting worse. There is rubbish, furniture, glass all over the lane.

Please urgently clear as its unfair dog walkers and other users have to avoid due to all the glass and metals everywhere.

Please clear our lane.

  • This is an update to a post from earlier in the year... but truth is, it is problem that recurs over and over... rubbish dumped in this lane... and no solution from BCC. It never goes away. This time it is so bad, my in-laws had to reverse out onto the main road. This is NOT OK. Please put in cameras, enforce the law... fine people and stopping being complicit in creating this DANGEROUS situation.

  • Two large incidents of fly tipping over the last couple of weeks. I have had to reverse back up the narrow lane and back out onto the Kings Weston Road which frequently has speeding vehicles. This is an ongoing issue and has been a common occurrence in the 10 years I lived locally. The road is used by cars, but also walkers, dog walkers, cyclists and children going to school. Please resolve the issue.
