Huge puddles on road crossing

Reported via mobile in the Flooding/Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 22:05, Friday 15 March 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5720725.

5205110 reference to previous report. This puddle is still here and causing lots of issues. Every day I have to walk my children to school through this puddle. They have to go around while I push a buggy through it as I can’t bump it up the curb. The issue seems to be coming from rain, a drain in the wrong place, and the garage draining all its water down the hill into the same place. many children and parents use this part of the road to cross to get to the schools and nurseries and it’s really dangerous. there are so many cars at this intersection and woth us trying to go around the puddle with walking children, and through it with those in huggies it is a big issue. I saw a child fall into this puddle a dew days ago and they were soaking wet and upset. This issue needs to be urgently addressed as it is a very busy section on road - woth pedestrians and cars
