1m pothole opposite to number 65 Redland Road

Reported via desktop in the Roads category anonymously at 16:18, Tuesday 19 March 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5738464.

Very deep pothole (30cm) on Redland Road outside the Elmgrove Centre (approx opposite number 65 Redland Road). The cobblestones bordering the kerb have been broken apart by the pothole and displaced. The situation is deteriorating daily. Parked cars on the other side of the road mean that most traffic has to drive through it. Tried to mark with a bollard but this keeps being moved, It is probably deep enough to break an axle and is certainly a danger to any cyclists particularly when disguised by puddle. This is a pedestrian route to the Infant School and Primary school so traffic can be heavy along this stretch of the road. The potholes under the railway bridge are also becoming worse despite some recent partial repairs.
