Completely blocked drain on the corner of Howard Rd & Fallodon Way.
Reported via desktop in the Flooding/Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 15:09, Sun 31 March 2024
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5787878.
It is causing flooding over the pavement in one direction and way out in to the road in the other. I had to walk out in to the middle of the junction at Fallodon Way in order to try to skirt the issue as it’s quite deep, in order to cross Howard Rd. A car then sped around the corner, not stopping on seeing a pedestrian in the middle of the road and I had to take swift action to avoid being mowed down. Others may not be so swift.

Still clogged with debris, which now, because of the couple of dry days, has solidified in the drain, the next slight rain will flood this again.

Being asked if the issue has been fixed - it has not rained for a while to be able to be sure, but looking at the drain today it still does seem stuffed with leaves and debris. So I imagine as soon as it rains it will flood again.
