Blocked drain yet again - a persistent problem here.

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5787943.
Every time it rains this drain on the corner of Coldharbour Road and the upper half of Halsbury Road this drain in the gutter blocks. Floods the pavement and road. Makes passing or crossing the road a nightmare.

Well, it hasn’t rained for a while but, today, the drain is stuffed full with old rain debris and leaves So at the first bit of rain I imagine it will.be just as previously reported. Blocked

As predicted, as soon as it rains this drain is once again blocked and collecting a lake of water on this corner. BCC thought there is nothing to do here……..?

No, this is not fixed yet. I walked past this today. There are established plants and weeds growing out between the drain grids as the debris filling the entire drain reaches up to the underside of the drain grids. Not just a few seedlings, ENTIRE plants. That’s a DEEP layer of sludge and debris in the drain to fill it up to this level. The minute there will be any rain, this will utterly flood again. Please, clear this drain!
