Accident caused by road works error.

Reported via desktop in the General highways enquiry category anonymously at 21:57, Tuesday 2 April 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5798346.

I was involved in an accident on the 27/3/24 at around 7:30 pm at the junction. There were road works and a coned off area closing 2 lanes in the direction heading back towards Temple Meads. The lights went green and I was hit by someone pulling out of York Rd as I continued around the roundabout. This person said the lights were also green and we both have witnesses confirming this. When I returned to the location after we had pulled over to exchange details the road workers said they saw the accident and changed the cones and signs accordingly. I believe the road works were not set up correctly which led to the accident.
