Damaged Drain cover danger to mobility vehicles, bikes, partially sighted, etc. Council useless - 8 months still not replaced.

Reported via mobile in the Flooding/Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 14:35, Tuesday 23 April 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5889778.

Council is inept. After 8 months of phone calls and mails, they can’t get their act together. But they can increase council tax in less than a minute. This broken draincover (must be my tenth attempt to wake a member of the council) is dangerous for disabled who cross the road, mobility scooters, partially sighted, bikes etc. especially in low light. You have to laugh. Council placed a cone over it. four months ago which I police everytime it blows away. These guys are in salaries believe it or not and the public are not receiving the service they pay for. Just back from Europe where standards put our council to shame. Replace the draincover please before someone’s foot goes through it.
