Large tree next to, and overarching our house that is dead

There is a dead tree (looks dead to us) overarching our house. This is not on our plot of land. We've seen 2 similar trees fall very close over the past 2 years. This one is leaning towards our house and significantly taller and would cause a lot of damage if it fell, so it needs removing. Thanks in advance
