Pothole

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6012669.

There is a small pothole on the left side of Servern Road going towards Chittering Road. Its a chunky one and its very hard to see its about half way along. I had to get new tyres because of structural failure. Every time I hit it it creates a bag so loud I have to check my alloys for cracks and Im sure this pothole will cause damage to my tyres again. Because I cant see it i hit it a 40mph and its only a matter of time before it gets larger. I dont want to be the one to have a accident. Thank you

  • Listern I sent you where it is I dont want any trouble but its simple. Go fix it. Stop bothering me and ask the contractors who are gping to fix it.

  • This is the third time of writing about how dangerous Severn Road is. My son has. Successfully made a claim for the damage to his car which took 6 months and unfortunately it will now be my turn.If you road inspectors cannot see how dangerous this road is then they are in the wrong job!There are pot holes and in places 18” roads that have collapsed. I was told via email to be fixed in August but it feels like the year was missing!! I dragged photos last time . Please can you send a claims form and a year of repair as I have to use this road daily avoiding lorry’s potholes, cyclists and pedestrians. The last two are at serious risk of a major accident. L
