Speeding

Reported via mobile anonymously at 21:00, Tuesday 28 May 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6031842.

Cars continually speeding up this road whereby there has been a number of accidents recently. One in particular on Christmas Day where there was a hit and run and left a ‘nurses’ car having to be written off.

Another one in the last couple of weeks where two youngsters crashed their car which landed up on its roof 3 doors away from my house who also did a hit and run, luckily there parents came forward and acknowledged the crash.

This is now becoming a rat run and it is very unpleasant listening to cars speeding up and down the main road.

Please explain to me what is the point of a speed camera at the top of Ingleside Road that is inactive. I suggest you move the camera to the lights at the bottom of Ingleside Road that runs alongside Charlton Road.
