Overhanging tree shedding branches

Reported via desktop in the Branch broken/hanging in tree category anonymously at 16:20, Fri 31 May 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6045248.

Earlier reports stretching back over 2 years (Qv. 4702425 et al) have failed to resolve this issue as no action was taken by the Council. I now plan to at least remove the problem from my property, by having overhanging branches removed up to my property boundary, as allowed by law. I would be grateful, therefore, if someone from the appropriate Department could let me know if I need to make a formal representation to the Council in this respect, or whether this report is sufficient notification. Thanks in advance!
