State of the field that backs into our house

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction category by Shelley Daniels at 20:30, Thursday 6 June 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6074857.

We get that we like a bit of wild life these days, but this is absolutely ridiculous. We have walked round the field that is at the back of the lamplighters and our house. One of the entrances onto the field where the silver Barriers are and it’s so over grown you can’t even get through the access. As you can see from the photos I have attached the grass or wildlife well, stingers nothing pretty about it at all are meeting the trees and this long grass stuff is getting bigger into the field than ever and it’s ruining our green space for our children to go and play. This is also effecting our view from our houses onto the field also it’s difficult to see our into the field where the grass, stingers are so long. This is getting more of an issue each year, a couple of years ago it was a tiny wildlife path and now there is no path and it’s gone too wild and big into the field. You can no see the silver barrier from one end of the field round to the other side. Something needs to be done about this as we are having more rubbish dumped into this also dog walkers are not picking up there dogs mess if they are doing it in this long grass too and this also causes issues for children with mess being on shoes, hands etc.
