Over grown shrubs/ nettles/ thorns

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction category anonymously at 12:20, Saturday 8 June 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6081079.

Good afternoon,

I hope you are well.

At the back of the house I private rent is a huge area of shrubs, thorns, stinging nettles and bushes that is growing over my driveway and the outside space. It’s coming into my garden which I’m trying to keep tidy and safe for my children.

They are in both sides of the driveway but also my neighbours to the left have a council property and all their trees/ shrubs and thorns are breaking my fence panels and impacting my garden and my car when I try to use the drive.

Unfortunately, I am a single mother of two and in receipt of PIP so I’m unable to cut anything down outside the property as it needs industrial tools.

I really hope there is something you are able to do, I am happy to provide more photos to show the true extent of the shrubs/thorns/ bushes/ nettles.

Thank you very much for your time in reading the above.

Best wishes, Chloe
