Cars parking on pavements, double yellows and across junctions
Reported via desktop in the Obstruction category anonymously at 14:30, Saturday 8 June 2024
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6081504.
On a regular basis, visitors to Lower Totterdown will park on double yellows, across pavements and across junctions making it difficult for pedestrians (particularly wheelchair and pram/buggy users) and dangerous and difficult for vehicles to manoeuvre around. This has been reported many times before but more enforcement from the council and local businesses is needed to stop this repeat behaviour. Perhaps daily at 1pm? Visitors have no respect for the local area or local residents and put themselves over others because they are too lazy to find somewhere legal to park and to walk to their destination.. Due to upload limits I can only share a couple of photos but cars are parked on every corner and most double yellows.
