Raised pavement on right side at far end of Eastmead Lane has overgrown shrubs & brambles blocking the pathway

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction category anonymously at 22:04, Sunday 9 June 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6085252.

This raised pavement at the far end of Eastmead Lane (near Hollybush Lane junction) has remained blocked for a number of years. Earlier on 9 June 2024 I cleared a rough pathway through the brambles etc with a pair of loppers brushing the cut back nettles, brambles and shrubs to the side. This gives a very limited access on foot but requires the clearance of the cut material by the council to give reasonable access to any pedestrian. Also needed would be an assessment with regard to the repair of some holes in the pavement due to the failure of the council to properly maintain the footpath pavement over the last few years.
