Back garden weeds and brambles growing out over the pavement,

Reported via desktop anonymously at 13:45, Tuesday 11 June 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6093572.

This is an ongoing problem which I originally reported last year. The landlord of this property has divided the back garden in two and just left the back half to nature. It's beginning to spill all over the pavement AGAIN after having been cleared (I believe by yourselves) at the beginning of January. I saw some workmen back in February who told me they were working on behalf of the landlord who lives in Australia and had been hired to sort out the garden and replace the fence. This has not happened but the inevitable has and it's only going to get worse. Can you please sort this out..

Updates

  • Within 24 hours of my inputting this report some work has been done to cut back the brambles and weeds. However, they are still there and will just start encroaching on the pavement again very quickly. The fence also needs to be replaced to make sure this doesn't happen every year.
