Pavement obstructed by vegetation overgrowth

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction blocking access category by Dr Melvyn Ward at 09:24, Mon 17 June 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6115519.

The stretch of pavement on Canford Lane, westbound from Premier Care to the junction with the A4018 (opposite library) is seriously obstructed by overgrowth from shrubs and trees. In places it it impassable to mobility scooters, wheelchairs and rollator (see photograph). Users have to step into the road to avoid each other (difficult due to parked vehicles). Some of the overhang is at eye level, therefore there is also a risk of eye injury.
