Hedges overgrown making pavement impassable

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction blocking access category anonymously at 22:27, Mon 17 June 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6119976.

Hedges have grown so much they now obstruct over half the pavement meaning wheelchair users and pushchairs cannot use safely. On a busy fast road near a junction where it is unsafe to go into the road to bypass the hedge and kerb-mounted parked cars. Outside number 8 Glyn Vale.

This report is now closed to updates from the public. You can make a new report in the same location. Please reference 6119976 in your new report if it is an update on this one.

  • This photo was taken last week. Today we had to dismount the pavement and walk in the road as the hedge is now too thick to pass without getting branches in your face. Very unsafe especially for children, buggies and wheelchair users.
