Damaged bark - appeared after pavement resurfacing

Reported via desktop in the Tree in poor health category anonymously at 15:35, Fri 21 June 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6137897.

A resident has contacted the Bristol Tree Forum to report this tree in declining health following pavement resurfacing which appears to now be in contact with the tree trunk. The tree does not look as well this year as other trees in the road. "The tree on the pavement outside 6 Owen Grove, Henleaze BS9 4EF is looking much less healthy since the pavement was resurfaced and tarmac placed right up to its trunk. Its bark is peeling on that side and, this spring, it has grown fewer leaves which are looking more yellow than the other trees of the same species on our street. Really hope you can help as we love the trees on our road!"
