Reported via mobile in the Hedge cutting category anonymously at 11:25, Wednesday 3 July 2024
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6185860.
Overgrowth in lane, lane is 2 slabs wide but only 1 slab available to walk. Needs to be trimmed more than normal, as not wide enough. Lane is getting wider and wider. This should not have to be reported year after year.

Hi we are Fed Up with this lane the hedges was about 18 feet high and we complain to Bristol City council they come and cut them to 6 foot high. Now they’re back to about 16 foot high. We have spoken to the council again why don’t the council take the hedge out and put a wall up in the long run? It’ll be cheaper.

Also really hard to get a pram through. You have to tip it up (very dangerous) underneath the bars to get it through. Esp the end nearest frampton crescent.
And you get soaking wet walking around the bars when its been raining as there isnt enough space between the hedge and the bars.

Adding another complaint as a pushchair user. Its horrible using this pathway, Please trim the hedge RIGHT BACK or just remove it. It takes over most of the path and is at least 3m high and 1.5m+ wide its well overgrown and needs serious maintenance. Cut it back to 5 foot, and make it more path than hedge or do the proper thing and take it out completely, please. There is a fence to the neighboring side so it won't be a problem. Surely fixing the problem once and for all is better than trimming it a little bit and it lasting 2 weeks and having to come back is better in the long run??!!??!!

It looks like the hedge has been trimmed a bit but not much. Not sure who by. But you are still unable to get through the end nearest frampton crescent without touching the hedge. It needs widening!!!!

Now its been raining the issue is worse. You get wet clothes when passing through the bollards at the end of the lane due to the limited space from the bush to the metal bollard.
