Driveway is deteriorating. Uneven and used frequently by vulnerable pedestrians.

Reported via desktop in the Pavements category by Mrs Liz Gaulton at 13:25, Wed 3 July 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6186579.

The driveway outside 3 Newcombe Road, has been crumbling away and as a result many people (children and adults) have tripped over it. We have elderly people who use the path regularly in this area. We are concerned that this is a pressing health and safety matter. The deterioration has been happening over a period of years. There was a report filed some time ago by my husband (we are the tenants) but the council have closed it down.

  • Hi, Please can you clarify exactly what needs to be investigated further? If a vulnerable person trips over I am concerned that BCC can be liable for this. Many thanks, Liz Gaulton
