Path getting overgrown although lots of traffic from bikes and pedestrians

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction blocking access category anonymously at 19:22, Fri 5 July 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6196355.

This path is part of the official cycle network but is hardly usable as when sitting on a bike the growth is hanging so low from the top and growing in from both sides that one constantly has to swerve to avoid being hit. The path is originally about 4-5m wide but in most places only a maximum of about 1.5m is usable! Can this please be cleared asap. If that much of a road would be blocked I think it would be sorted much quicker. Greenery needs to be cut back hard! twice a year and after leaf fall in late autumn the path needs to be cleared to the sides.
